| The 2010 World Junior Championships in Athletics will be held in Moncton, Canada on July 19-25, 2010.[1]
The meet will be held in the Stade Moncton 2010 Stadium. Construction of the new stadium, which is on the Université de Moncton campus, began in the spring of 2008. This $20 million-plus project features seating for 10,000 with the capability to be expanded to 20,000 seats for future events. The stadium is the biggest of its kind in Atlantic Canada and was designed to accommodate a wide variety of events beyond just track and field. The facility ise co-managed by the University and the City of Moncton.[2]
