Christopher Lear (1974-) is an American runner and author, best known for his book Running With the Buffaloes.
In Lear's senior year of high school, he ran a 4:09 mile at theh Golden West Invitational, which was the fastest high school mile in New Jersey in the 1990s. Lear earned All-Ivy, All-East and All-American honors at Princeton University and was elected captain of the cross-country team twice.
