Jason John Gardener (1975-) is a retired English sprinter who competed in the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics.

Gardener was educated at Beechen Cliff School, Bath, where he now has a tutor group named after him. He is also a graduate of Bath Spa University.


Gardener_Jason_action1.jpg He won the 4x100 in World Junior Championships 1994 and in European Cup 1995 and 1999. In the 1998 European Indoor Championships, he was second in the 60m.

In 1999, Gardener broke 60m European Indoor record with 6.46.

In 2000, Gardener did not make the finals in either the 100m or the 4 x 100m. However, he did win a gold in the 4 x 100m in the 2004 games. In the 2005 National Indoor Championships, he finished first in the 60m. Gardener's last professional race was a 4 x 100 m relay at the London Grand Prix at Crystal Palace on August 3, 2007. His team failed to finish this race.
