Kjersti Tysse-Plätzer (1972-) is a Norweigan racewalker who has won two silver medals in the 20K in 2000 and 2008.
The 2000 SPAR European Cup bronze medal winner started her competitive career at the European Junior Championship in Cottbus, Germany in 1985.

In a career spanning over 24 years, Platzer won several medals including two silver medals at IAAF Race Walking Challenge in 2003 and 2007. She finished fourth at the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Goteborg. In 1998, her 10km race walk was 15th at European Cup and 9th at European Champiosnhips. National Championships: 2002-2008 (1st, 10km RW); 2004 (1st, 20km RW); 2006 (1st, 3000m RW & 20km RW)
