Track & Field News is a magazine founded in 1948 by brothers Bert Nelson & Cordner Nelson. E. Garry Hill is the magazine's editor. Sieg Lindstrom is the managing editor. Ed Fox is publisher, and Janet Vitu is executive publisher.[1]

The magazine provides coverage of athletics in the United States from the high school to national level and all international events. The magazine's motto is "The Bible of the Sport".

Each year the magazine's world rankings of top track & field athletes are coordinated by the magazine's editor along with an international team of experts. Current members of the Rankings team are R.L. Quercetani, Nejat Kök, Dave Johnson, Richard Hymans, Jeff Hollobaugh and Jonathan Berenbom.[2]

T&FN is headquartered south of San Francisco in the heart of Silicon Valley at 2570 El Camino Real, Suite 606, Mountain View, CA 94040.
